Transformers Beast Wars Review

We like Transformers at our house. Long before Sam Witwicky came wandering into our Transformers movies we were serious fans. In the late 90’s there was a series that tried to re-kindle the magic of the series in the 80’s. This series was called Transformers Beast Wars and it was quite revolutionary. The great peeps over at Shout! Factory have revived this hit is available now for you to buy and love.

When the descendants of the treacherous Decepticons — now known as Predacons — land on a mysterious planet in search of the powerful fuel Energon, it’s up to Optimus Primal and the heroic Maximals to stop them before they conquer the universe!

In 1996Transformersfans were introduced to this stunning saga created by Hasbro and the studio behind the groundbreaking computer-generated animated series ReBoot.  Beast Wars ran for three amazing seasons, won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation and introduced a new generation of fans to the astonishing world ofThe Transformers! Now you can see the first 26 incredible episodes of this breathtaking animated epic.

Pros: Kids love it, new twist to some familiar characters, and the chance to get the entire series at once or just a taste!

Cons: The CG is nowhere near what we have today and can seem dated…but it is so that is okay.
