Hilton Getaway Giveaway (Closed)
My grandfather taught me how to catch a baseball, oiled my first glove when I was seven, and always told me to keep my eye on the ball. He encouraged me to join Little League a number of years later. Little League baseball taught me how to work as a team, how to take a loss, and how to celebrate a win. The years that I spent in Little League taught me many valuable lessons that carry over to many instances in my life today and I am so thankful for the coaches and volunteers that took the time to teach me so many values.
Little League Baseball and Softball is the world’s largest and most respected youth sports organization. With players in every U.S. state and more than 70 other countries, the program is led by more than 1 million adult volunteers. I would have to say my 4th grade teacher. I was fortunate enough to have a very supportive family who encouraged me in everything I did, but having someone outside of my family take an interest in my well being and encourage me at every turn did wonders for my self esteem. My mom was always my biggest encouragement. She always told me there would always be someone better than me, but that I should try my hardest regardless. She always pushed me to do my best.

My dad was my biggest fan when I was growing up…and still is. He never missed a ball game and was there everytime one of us got an award. He encouraged us to always do our best.

In addition to my parents, there were a couple of teachers, Ms. King and Ms. Williams. I always wanted to thank them for the support and encouragement they always gave.
Thank you for the entry, great giveaway!

My mom encouraged me as a child. I would try to give up on playing the piano but she would keep me focused and working hard. I’m still not great, but she tried!
