Some Supervision Required….

macaroniWhy is it that Crystal and I always have to watch our kids out of the corner of our eyes?  Do the kids really have to fight over who gets to play with the wooden spoon and who gets the plastic one? Who gets to push the elevator button?  Who gets into the car first? Most importantly who gets the first drink when we crack open a refreshing beverage?  Hhhmmmmm….  Really!? What I really want to know is why does the loser of the contest or argument always lash out and attack the other as soon as the other has partaken in the prize or claimed first place? Is this where being a “sore loser” is started.  I am so over the sneaky pinches, the pulling of the clothes, the hitting of the back of the other sibling.  We have gotten to the point to where I think that they somehow damaged each others ears and now they can’t hear us when we try to break it up or get on to them! I really don’t even care as of  late.  We let them go at it kinda like Survivor!  Out-wit, out-pinch, out-scream, out-hit-the-other-in-the-head-while-their-back-was-turned-trying-to-tattle-tell-when-they-got-surprised-by-one-of-those-giant-bouncy-balls-that-you-can-sit-on-and-hold-on-tight-because-it-has-a-handle-attached-to-it-toy-things,  and oh yeah …out-last!  They could have like little tribes and do “who can clean up their room the fastest?” immunity challenges.  Or find the immunity idol somewhere outside while doing yard work with Daddy, like some sweet macaroni necklace or something!  Then when it comes down to tribal council, whoever lost that week ( the ultimate decision would be made by the parents) would have to squeeze out their juice box and realize “the tribe has spoken”!  Then we the parents could think of cool punishments!  Ha!  Okay, I know a little crazy and or cruel….unless you like it and….good!  Until next time guys…………..

Late,

Ryan
