Hey there guys! I really enjoyed your podcast. I promise to come back and to spread the word. Keep up the great work!

      You asked about Halloween costumes…
3 of my kids are going to be zombies and the oldest one is going to be Velma (from Scooby Doo).

Thanks for the chance for the giveaway! Addie would love that video.

As always, a good episode. As far as friends go, we have done OK maintaining friendships with our old friends and we have made friends with some of our new neighbors. I also have a Mom’s Group that I am a part of, so there are several mom’s night out events for me to attend.

As far as TV goes, we are also several shows behind on many of the series. Some day we will get caught up. I do watch “The Biggest Loser” by myself on Tuesdays since Ryan is in class, that way he doesn’t have to ask me every two minutes why I am crying . 🙂

As far as Halloween costumes, go Addie wants to be a Butterfly. I wanted her to be a ladybug, but the butterfly will be cute. I always try and make a part of her costume, because I am crazy. I think (my) Ryan should be a bug catcher. 🙂 He wants to be Shrek. I also have to come up with a good costume, because we have a contest at work. Last year, I was dental floss.

Have a good week! Hoping for Episode 24 next week! 🙂

      Jill

      Hey guys,
Sorry I seem to have been MIA. I am still here listening, just haven’t commented in a while. With working overnights and working out during the day, I am usually pretty exhausted. (I have lost 50 pounds btw…just wanted to throw that in there LOL) I don’t have much of a life but I still don’t have time for friends. We have a few friends in the town we used to live in, but we never seem to have time to make it down there to see them.

I also cry when I watch the Biggest Loser…and Bob laughs at me (my Bob…not Bob Harper,…though that would be cool if we could interact with the trainers LOL!!) I am behind on watching the Biggest loser though because I have so many shows that I have to watch that I can’t even DVR it so I have to wait until NBC posts the episode online which is a week after it airs.

Oh we LOVE pizza here too. I could eat it every day but that wouldn’t be good for my weight loss. We are fans of Digorno as well. They make a yummy frozen pizza.

For Halloween my son wants to be Thomas the train. That is what he was last year so I am excited that I won’t have to buy a costume for him. I kinda like my kids to be something different each year, but hey if it saves me $20 then I don’t care. Genevieve wants to be Cinderella. Kinda hard with her DARK hair but hey if that’s what she wants to be, I won’t stop her. When they were younger I liked dressing them in a theme, but I won’t force them into a costume that they don’t want. I try and persuade them in a direction that I want and if they take the bait then cool, if not, oh well it was worth a shot .

Oh and I don’t know why you don’t want us to tell them the secret word, like someone couldn’t guess you would use DaddyDigest….DUH!!! 🙂

Oh and I forgot one more thing, I also have a child obsessed with a particular video game. Evan loves Mario Kart for the Wii. He is CONSTANTLY playing it and I have to cut him off at times. He is so funny when he plays it because he has to give basically a play by play the whole time he is playing. It’s cute at times but then sometimes it is just plain annoying LOL!!

TOTALLY agree on the pediactric dentist issue. My youngest, Paige, turned 2 in June (which is when our pedi dentist recommends the first visit) and I about fell on the floor when her bill came to $145 (FOR TEETH BRUSHING AND FLORIDE)!!!!!. Her entire visit lasted maybe 10 minutes!
Fortunately, our insurance paid for a whooping $55 leaving ONLY the remaining $90 for us to fork over. She explained to me that our insurance coverage for kids under the age of 3 was for a lower percentage.
She then proceeded to try to schedule another cleaning for Paige at 2 1/2 years. I was like……WHAT? I just politely declined and told her that we would be back when Paige turned 3 for them to brush her teeth again, when our coverage would be at 100%, unless she started having any problems! I mean really! I am paying $90 for them to brush my daughter’s teeth and then she wants to get ONE MORE visit out of us before the insurance kicks in more! Ugh!!!! Mamma can shake the tree as much as she wants but there ain’t no money falling off of it!!!
Ryan, it is great to listen to you and your wife talk about everyday issues! This was my first podcast of yours and I think ya’ll are doing great! Look forward to the next one. It takes me back to when we were in school! You HAVE NOT changed!! Stay true and God Bless!

I admit I am a bit behind on the shows, I just finished 25. TY for mentioning my site and my comment during 23. Both forgetful dad (my hubby) and I enjoyed this episode, it cracked us up, especially you and Crystal talking about the kids and the dentist. It’s so true and they charge wayyyyyyyyy too much.

As always I am a fan of you guys, and can’t wait to move on to episode 26. Gotta go and listen. Bye for now.
