K’NEX – Building Fun Times

Holiday time is approaching and I don’t know about all of you but I am getting more and more nervous as to what to get my kiddos  this year.  All three of them are very creative and love to express themselves through their artistic endeavors.  There are many block sets out there and I hope that all of this info can help you choose this holiday season.

Sometimes in my house we have a problem finding games or activities that can please two boys and one girl in addition to having them be two, four, and seven. Many toys and games in my house are great for some but usually someone feels left out or feels like they can’t play or do what the other one is doing. With K”NEX you don’t have to feel left out. The kids can play however they want. They can use the directions to build the featured toy are just go off and free-build and let their imagination run. Peyton, who is two, can play with his larger age appropriate blocks while the older two can play with the smaller regular blocks.

Ryan’s Rating: 7.5 out of 10!!

Pros:   Block sets can be built in several different ways with included instructions.  Also K”NEX has an awesome “brick separator” that is included in some sets to help with those stubborn ones that won’t let go of others.

Cons:  Sometimes a few pictures on instruction sheets are hard to understand the placement.
