Thomas the Tank Engine Giveaway (Closed)

Thomas the Tank Engine has been a part of my kids lives in the past couple of years in the form of the television series. They aren’t too obsessed to the point where that they have to have every incarnation of these famous tank engines, but they really love the show. I think it is a great property that teaches many values and lessons in ways that that the kiddos can relate too…not that they are trains…but with the situations that occur.

Thomas & Friends has been making tracks to great destinations for over 65 years with classic stories of adventures from the railways on the Island of Sodor. The #1 blue engine and his friends invite children to enter a world of imagination through the tracks of a train and the words of a story. As children embark for fun and excitement with their engine friends, adventures unfold that lead to timeless life lessons such as discovery, friendship and cooperation.

Thomas the Tank is one of six properties nominated for the award that honors a property that had the greatest success in spreading its brand throughout the industry. The 2011 winner will be announced at an awards ceremony to be held before the start of American International Toy Fair on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. This is the first time voting for TIA’s “Toy of the Year” categories will be open to the public.

If you guys could do Thomas a favor and head on over to the Toy of the Year site and choo-choose him as the property of the year I bet he would really appreciate it.

(1) winner will receive a Thomas prize pack that includes: a small Thomas toy, a Thomas DVD and book, and a Thomas viewfinder!
