Tassimo T20 Brewbot Review
So, it’s been about a month since I first received my Brewbot. I got a Tassimo T20 in the mail and hooked it up and so far it has been really neat-o getting aqainted with this little guy. The T20 makes seven different styles of coffeehouse drinks, including lattes, cappuccinos, cafe crema, espresso, hot chocolate, tea and coffee! I am a huge coffee fan, Crystal is a big coffee fan but enjoys her tea’s, and the kids love hot chocolate. Everyone in the house is well taken care of now and we don’t have to have the microwave going, the coffee pot on, or the kettle boiling on the stove to get what we each want.
- Makes coffee, tea, cappuccino, latte, crema, espresso and hot cocoa.
- Makes drinks in about 1 minute.
- Includes an exclusive flow–through water heater for faster, quieter brewing.
- Space saving design ideal for apartments, dorm rooms and countertops.
- Smart bar code technology allows the brewer to adjust each beverage with the proper temperature pressure and amount of water.
After trying several different varieties of beverages I think it is a tie between the Gevalia Espresso and the Starbucks Breakfast Blend coffee for me. Crystal fell in love with the Gevalia Signature Blend Coffee and sometimes I come home and she is right in the middle of her spirits being lifted by this blend. I think next we are going to try some of the Milka brand Hot Chocolate to stay warm while catching a movie on the couch.

A Change of Plans Giveaway
The weather is cold here and we are all tired and worn out from the holidays. Sometimes we just want to all bundle up and climb up on the couch and take in a movie. P&G and Walmart recently sent us a movie preview kit for the upcoming film “A Change of Plans”, which airs on FOX on January 8 at 8/7c. I received a selection of treats to chomp on during the movie including candy, popcorn, and a blanket to snuggle under!
About

Epic Mickey Review and Giveaway
I’m sorry to say that my interest in the Wii has been waining for a while now. I just haven’t been excited about most of the games that have been coming out lately. There was one game that did catch my eye and got me excited when I heard about it’s upcoming release. That game was rumored to feature someone that I wouldn’t normally play a game with him in it. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy, but I usually play games that are more…not in his realm. I was a bit more closer to him growing up but as I started getting older he and I started to grow apart. We recently crossed paths again and started to catch up. I told him about me and my family and he told me all about his wonderful world of Disney. His name is Mickey Mouse.
About the Game
Disney Epic Mickey is an action-adventure platforming game for the Wii console that sends Mickey Mouse on an epic journey of creativity and discovery. As Mickey, the player is propelled into Wasteland, an alternate world made up of Disney’s long forgotten characters and attractions, and is given the power to wield paint and paint thinner to dynamically change the world while determining Mickey’s path to becoming an epic hero.
Through the use of this unique paint and paint thinner, the key components of animation and Mickey’s tools for impacting his world, players will have the ability to shape how the story unfolds as they discover the concept of “Playstyle Matters” – an innovative style of gameplay created by Disney Interactive Studios’ Junction Point, led by industry luminary Warren Spector, where players creatively tackle different challenges in the world to explore all the possibilities and storylines – but with consequences for their chosen actions.
I popped this game into the Wii, and between the kids and I, the excitement was huge. The game starts off and immediately gets right into a new and captivating story. This time around it seems that this Mickey is not the Mickey from Mickey’s Clubhouse or Mickey’s House of Mouse but a a more mischievous Mickey Mouse. This Mickey is one who gets into a messes constantly it seems. The controls of the game are very fluid and they were easy enough for the kids to navigate Mickey into many areas of magic.
- Use paint and paint thinner to change the world, interact with friends and enemies and solve challenges.
- Choose the best path to become an epic hero because play style really matters and your choices will change the outcome of the game.
- Explore and solve challenges in an alternate Disney world ruled by Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Walt Disney’s first cartoon star.
- Travel between lands in Wasteland through classic platforming levels inspired by animated films and shorts.
- Experience an innovative mix of platforming, action-adventure and light role playing game elements.
Ryan’s Rating: 9 out of 10!!
Pros: This game is brilliant! Great story and looks outstanding on the Wii.
Cons: Leaves me wanting more Oswald the Rabbit.
